Quinn Denker earns Lou Henson award National Player of Week honors

QUINN DENKER EARNS LOU HENSON AWARD NATIONAL PLAYER OF WEEK HONORS

BOSTON, MA -- Northern Colorado’s Quinn Denker has been named the Lou Henson award National Player of the Week. The 6-foot-3 senior led the Bears to a big road win over in-state rival Colorado last week.

Denker scored a career-high 33 points, as Northern Colorado won in Boulder for the first time since 1935. Denker added 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the 86-81 win for the Bears, which are ranked No. 23 in the Mid-Major Top 25®.

The Lou Henson award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in division I college basketball.  The award voting panel is made up of current division I coaches, athletic administrators, and senior College Insider staff members.
