DOMINIQUE DANIELS EARNS LOU HENSON AWARD NATIONAL PLAYER OF WEEK HONORS

BOSTON, MA -- California Baptist’s Dominique Daniels Jr. has been named the Lou Henson award National Player of the Week. The 5-foot-10 senior led the Lancers to a pair of conference wins last week. 

Daniels averaged 36.5 points in the two victories, capped off by a 47-point performance on Saturday against Utah Valley. He was 13-for-21 from the field and 18-of-21 from the free throw line. He also had 6 assists and 3 steals. Earlier in the week he finished with 26 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds against Utah Tech.

The Lou Henson award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in division I college basketball.  The award voting panel is made up of current division I coaches, athletic administrators, and senior College Insider staff members.
