What is not to like about Arizona?  Everyone returns for coach Lute Olson, including a pair of All-American's in Jason Gardner and Luke Walton. The Wildcats also boast a very impressive recruiting class. It'll be a wild-cat scene in New Orelans come March.

1.       Arizona Luke Walton is CI's preseason Player of the Year.
2.       Oklahoma Kelvin Sampson's team may be better than last year's squad.
3.       Kansas Point guard Aaron Miles is the next star in Lawrence, KS.
4.       Texas T.J. Ford may be the best player in America.
5.       Duke Chris Duhon, Dahntay Jones and a stellar recruiting class.
6.       Alabama The Tide won't go quietly in March this time around.
7.       Pittsburgh Brandin Knight and four other starters return.
8.       Mississippi State Mario Austin is a man-child.
9.       Oregon Perhaps the nation's best perimeter attack.
10.       Georgia Maybe the ranking is high, but the Bulldogs are talented.
11.      Florida   A big year from Brett Nelson could take Gators a long way.

The class of the Atlantic 10.

13.      UCLA Steve Lavin doesn't get the credit he deserves.
14.      Connecticut Caron Butler may be gone, but there is plenty still there.
15.      Michigan State If Chris Hill comes of age, look out.
16.      Virginia The Cavs will be the surprise of the ACC.
17.      Marquette Five of top eight scorers are gone, but Dwayne Wade is back.
18.      Maryland   The defending champs still have plenty of punch.
19.      Western Kentucky The Hilltoppers may be Top 10 by season's end.
20.      Kentucky There are question marks, but Tubby Smith will have answers.
21.      Cincinnati  Jason Maxiell is an All-America talent.
22.      Wisconsin  Most of the pieces return for the Big Ten champs.
23.      UNLV Spoon ball is ready to open eyes nationally.
24.      Gonzaga Replacing Dan Dickau won't be easy.
