STEVE PROHM SAYS...
What's the most
funniest, romantic or disastrous thing that has ever happened on a
date? "My girlfriend and I had went to the mountains for the
day and had a picnic, took walks and just hung out. It was her
idea and we had a great time. When we got back to my house (this
was year's ago) my mom met me at the door and told my girl that
she needed to leave. I found out that the police had been to my
house with a warrant for my arrest because of an unpaid speeding
ticket that I had forgot about. My dad was pissed! As great of a
day I had, the night was awful!"
How would you
define love? "Giving up your desires for the benefit of your
partner."
What's your biggest turn off? "Smoking, too much makeup,
obnoxious"
Which famous person would you like to date? "Alyssa Milano"
What's the one thing a woman can do on a date that would
impress you? "If she made me forget about everything else I
had to do the next day!"
What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime? "I want to
make my parents & family proud. I want to be a part of a program
that wins a national championship! I want to meet a great woman
and have a family. I want to make a strong impact on the players
that I coach and teach and see them be successful. I also want to
go to heaven!"
If you life had a slogan what would it be? "A great
pleasure in life is doing the things that people say you cannot
do!"
What is your greatest sports memory? "Beating Arkansas in
1994 when they were No. 1 in the country. I was a student manager
at Alabama with the men's basketball team.
Describe your typical first date? "I'll pick them up. Make
sure I open all doors, etc. Probably go get a bite too eat at a
nice place and then go to a club or bar for drinks and to visit."
Have you ever been on a blind date and if so how did it turn
out? "Yes, it ended up being one of the worst nights of my
life. One of my best friends came with me because she had a friend
for him. We still laugh about it today."
What would you want her to know about you before you went on a
date? "That I love basketball, but I am very friendly and a
good person and looking for an opportunity to meet the right
woman."
What's the first thing you notice about a woman? "Her body,
especially legs and butt!"
What's the
sexiest part of a woman? "Her stomach."
What qualities do you look for in a woman? "Loyal, honest,
attractive and fit, very social"
