MARIANNE SEVIN
SAYS...
Describe the type of men you have been dating? What did you
like/dislike about them? "The type of man I date is usually
always involved with athletics in some way. "I like these men
because they are usually highly motivated, confident, easy going
people. What I dislike is that we tend to let our 'competitive
spirits' cause conflict and we both tend to be too prideful in the
end to admit each others mistakes."
Have you ever been on a blind date and if so how did it turn
out? "Blind dates never turn out well for me. "I think I set
my standards a little too high when I've not had any previous face
to face interaction. Sometimes I'm not so sure of my friend's
opinion in men for me!"
What qualities do you look for in a man? "Sincerity, humor,
compassion, sense of adventure, a Christian"
What's the sexiest part of a man? "I can't resist dimples!"
What's your biggest turn on/off? "My biggest turn off is
bad table manners. My biggest turn on is a nice chest - strong
pecs that is!"
What do you like on your pizza? "Canadian bacon, pineapple,
and jalapeños"
Which famous person would you like to date? "Tom Selleck"
What's the one thing a man can do on a date that would impress
you? "Something noble; like helping an old lady with her car
door."
What's your happiest moment? "My happiest moment was lacing
up my shoes for my first professional basketball game after
sitting out 4 years after back surgery."
If your life had a slogan what would it be? "My life slogan
would be: You can take the girl out of the country but you can't
take the country out of the girl."
What would be the title of your biography? "The title of my
biography would be "Hoop Queen of Garr Corner"
What would you do if you won the lottery? "Build a new gym
for my high school."
What five words would your boss use to describe you? "My
boss would describe me as sincere, passionate, reliable, loyal,
opinionated!"
How would you describe your best friend? "My best friend is
goofy!, understanding, gorgeous, and the best Christian I know"

NCAA Basketball Sweet 16 in 1994."
