SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT

lot of coaches caught flack for making or failing to make the 50
Most Eligible Bachelors list, but this latest CollegeInsider.com
feature will have a lot of people taking a lot of heat.
Many coaches were not concerned that they weren't included in the
Bachelor list and still more will say that they didn't care if
they got beat on the Runway to the Fashionable Four. But anyone
who says that they don't care about making this list is lying.
Let's be honest guys, you are pretty happy if you made College
Basketball's 50 Sexiest. If you didn't, some part of you wishes
you had. And those that didn't make the cut will certainly hear
from those of us that did.
For example, John Calipari will be getting a call from me to
inform him that his name is not on the list. I think Angela Lento
included me in the Top 50 just so I could make that call to Coach
Cal.
Those phone calls and those conversations are one reason that
college basketball coaches rate CollegeInsider.com as our favorite
and most visited website. Whether it's a column by Lute Olson, a
Coach Magarity's movie review or Jim Phelan Bow Tie day, CI has
continued to create dialogue among coaches. And now we have
something else to talk about.
Voice mail message for Coach Cal: How does it feel to see Bob
Huggins, Seth Greenberg and Dave Magarity make this list, while
you didn't? Steve Lavin made the list and he isn't even coaching
this season.
Guys like
Magarity have brainwashed everyone at CollegeInsider.com. Just
because he appears in those James Bond movie posters doesn't mean
he is suave and debonair.
College Basketball's 50 Sexiest is just another in long list of
unique features from Angela Lento and CollegeInsider.com. It's
humbling that she included me, but now I am wondering if being on
a list with Seth Greenberg is really credible.
If you made the list, don't thank me. I was in no way involved in
the determination process. And if you didn't make the list, you
are sure to hear about from the 50 that did.
