Hahn, a former assistant coach at La Salle
University of the Atlantic-10, begins his
second season on the Catamount coaching
staff in 2006-07. He joined Head Coach
Mike Lonergan's staff in May of 2005.
A 2000 graduate of the University of
Maryland, Hahn was on his father Billy's
staff at La Salle for three seasons from
2001-04 serving as an assistant coach and
director of basketball operations. At La
Salle Hahn coached Rasual Butler of the

included game and practice preparation,
recruiting, supervising academics,
coordinating film exchange, and conducting
individual workouts.
At Vermont, Hahn also is heavily involved
in many aspects of the basketball program
including recruiting, opponent scouting,
individual skill development, and
scheduling. He also works closely with the
Catamount guards and has played an
instrumental role in the development of
America East Rookie of the Year Mike
Trimboli.
Hahn, a native of Columbia, Md., was a
reserve guard for the Maryland Terrapins
under legendary coach Gary Williams. In
each of his four seasons Maryland reached
the NCAA tournament including advancing to
the regional semi-finals ("Sweet Sixteen")
in 1998 and 1999. A member of the ACC
Academic Honor Roll, he was the team
captain as a senior and his teammates
included NBA regulars Steve Blake, Juan
Dixon, and Steve Francis.
At the beginning of his coaching career
Hahn worked basketball camps across the
country including the prestigious Eastern
Invitational. The experience has greatly
contributed to his extensive recruiting
connections in Baltimore, DC,
Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New England.
