Jon
Borovich is in his second season with the
men's basketball coaching staff, joining
the program in July of 2005. He came to OU
from the staff at the University of Dayton
where he was the Director of Basketball
Operations.
A native of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan,
Borovich was with the Flyers for two
seasons, joining former OU standout Brian
Gregory's staff there when he took over
the program. During his time on the Dayton
staff the Flyers compiled a 42-20 record
and made an NCAA appearance in 2004.
Before Dayton he served as a graduate
assistant on the staff at Michigan State
where he assisted the Spartan's program in
video analysis while completing his
Master's Degree in Athletics
Administration.
Borovich earned a bachelor's degree in
Sports Studies in 2001 from Central
Michigan, with a double minor in
Psychology and Coaching. He was the
captain of the Chippewas' basketball team
as a junior and senior and helped lead the
team to the 2001 Mid-American Conference
Championship. He also was named to the MAC
All-Academic team as a senior.
Borovich is single and resides in
Rochester Hills, Michigan.
