BOSTON, MA -- COLLEGEINSIDER.COM and 312 MEDIA, are proud to announce that the feature All-Access with Green Bay, an in-depth look at the Green Bay basketball program, has been nominated for a 2014 Midwest Sports Emmy® Award.  

“This is the third nomination in two years for the All-Access series,” said CollegeInsider.com Vice President Angela Lento. “Tad Hathaway and 312 Media do incredible work and it’s great to see them recognized once again.”

The featured was produced by Tad Hathaway (312 MEDIA). “All-Access with Green Bay" is nominated in the Outstanding Achievement for Sports Programs - Program Feature/Segment.

This is the third Emmy® nomination for the COLLEGEINSIDER.COM All-Access series.  In 2013 it won a New York Emmy® Award for its All-Access NYC College Basketball feature, highlighting Iona College, LIU-Brooklyn and Manhattan College. In February of 2014 "Anatomy of a Game Winning Shot - The 2013 CIT Final," highlighting East Carolina’s buzzer-beating shot to win the 2013 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, was nominated for a 2014 National Sports Emmy ® Award.  

The winners will announced at the 56th Annual Chicago/Midwest Emmy® Awards Ceremony, taking place on the evening of November 1st, held at the large Atlantic Ballroom within the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, located at 221 North Columbus Drive in Chicago. This will be the first year the event is held at this location.

Established in 1996 CollegeInsider.com is online presence, which covers all levels of college basketball. In addition to 17 national awards named after coaches, CollegeInsider.com has the trademarked Mid-Major Top 25, which is recognized as the measuring stick for non-BCS schools, and Shots from the Heart, a season-long free-throw competition involving some of the biggest names in coaching. In 2009 the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament was created. What began as 16-team event quickly expanded to 24 teams in 2011 and is now a 32-team postseason event, with invitations extended only to teams outside of the BCS power conferences.
