Welcome to the
mid-major forum. The purpose of the forum is to give fans
a better understanding into the process to determine the
weekly Mid-Major Top 25. Ten years after its creation, the
Mid-Major Top 25 continues to be the measuring stick for
the program residing outside the proverbial power
conferences.
As chairman, of the voting panel for the 2008-09 season, I
wanted to create more interaction with the fans. One of
the things that the people at CollegeInsider.com have told
me is that they would receive a steady stream of
questions, regarding the poll, the voters, the process and
various other things. Thus it seemed like a good idea to
create the forum.
In addition to myself, other members of the voting panel
will be answering your questions and responding to your
comments throughout the season.
