Head Coach Tournament
Assistant Coach Tournament

Villanova’s Jay Wright was attempting to become a back-to-back champion for the second time in his career. He won consecutive titles in 1998 and 1999, while at Hofstra. Instead it was Gary Waters (Cleveland State) who joined Wright and Bruiser Flint as a 3-time champion on the Runway to the Fashionable 4. John Calipari (Kentucky) made his second Fashionable 4 appearance, while Danny Manning (Tulsa) made his first.

The Bacari Alexander dynasty continued in 2012 as the Michigan assistant was crowned the Best-Dressed Assistant for the fifth time. After winning two with Detroit and two with Western Michigan, this is his first with the Michigan Wolverines. Other notables in the Fashionable include defending champion Steve Robinson (North Carolina) and Carmen Maciariello (Boston University) who made his second appearance in three years.
